Using archived WSR-88D Level II radar data, tornadoes that occurred within the St. Louis, MO National Weather Service Forecast Area from 4 August 1992 to 31 December 2017 were assigned a storm mode. A temporal analysis was done on the storm modes to show diurnal, seasonal, and yearly trends in tornadic storms. Additional attributes, such as storm mode's relation to multiple tornado occurrences, Fujita/Enhanced Fujita Scale rating, fatalities, and injuries were also examined.
